The Boxelder Bombardment.

The annual invasion is nearly upon us.  Boxelder bugs will be re-awakening in your trees…and just about everywhere else.  For most of us in Chicagoland, the boxelder bug needs no introduction. This bug is about ½-inch long as an adult, black with three red lines on the thorax and diagonal red lines on each wing.

Here are some facts about this recurring pest –

1.  They are especially prevalent in early spring and the fall.
2.  It overwinters in homes or wherever it can find warmth.
3.  Removing female boxelder trees may be the best solution to freeing your property.
4.  Some laundry detergents will kill them when applied directly.

Are you ready to accomplish that last task to rid your land of boxelder bugs?  We didn’t think so!  Boxelder bugs will be here to stay throughout the spring unless you fight back by calling A Complete Pest Solution.  They are Chicagoland’s answer to complete pest control…especially boxelder bugs.  Call A Complete Pest Solution at (630) 464-1542.
