Commercial Pest Control in 2017.

As you plan your business budget for the upcoming year do not forget to include pest control.  You will need to keep the beasts out 12 months a year...no not the difficult customers.  The truth is your business may have problems with bugs, mice, bees, and even birds.  If you own a restaurant your very survival depends on a “clean slate”.

Commercial pest control is different from home protection in that it is vitally important to keep the area bug free ALL of the time.  You can’t explain to a freaked out diner why she just saw a mouse run across the floor.  If you have a professional troubleshoot the potential problem on a monthly basis you will not have to do damage control later.

Never let a customer see a rodent or bug in your Chicagoland business.  Call a professional in December to help avoid that fate.  The right man for the job is Kurt Spurgeon, the owner of A Complete Pest Solution.  He is your Chicagoland year round commercial pest control expert.  Call Kurt before your business becomes a 2017 hangout for unwanted pests at (630) 464-1542.

Don’t Share Your House with a Mouse.

Words to live by in Chicagoland I should say!  House mice are very easy to identify, not always so easy to eradicate.  In case you have just moved to the area or have tried to forget over the last year, house mice are gray or brown and between five and eight inches (including their nasty tails).  They weigh less than an ounce so, obviously they are NOT rats.

Here is the real problem…they breed like well, mice!  In the course of a year one female critter is capable of having 50 offspring or more.  You won’t have any trouble noting if you have a mouse infestation.  Look for droppings or finely shredded material that they use to build their nests.  Listen for sounds in the walls, especially at night as they are nocturnal.

At the very first sign of any rodent occupation of your home or business you need an expert to eliminate them.   The first and only call you will need to make is to A Complete Pest Solution.  Kurt will find the source and eliminate rats and mice where they enter your home.  Call your Chicagoland rodent removal experts A Complete Pest Solution at (630) 464-1542.  No mouse in this house!

Different Types of Mice

Earlier this month we addressed the reappearance of the mouse in and around your home as the temperatures begin to drop.  Now let’s get to know three types of mice that you may see and want to eliminate from your home.

The Field Mouse or Deer Mouse.  Field mice rarely venture into inhabited buildings but in the winter months, they will enter sheds and other backyard structures where food may be stored.  Field mice may be a big threat to businesses who are engaged in agriculture.

The House Mouse.  These little devils are active the year around, but you can be sure they will be seeking safe harbor in the winter months to come.  They usually live on the ground, but may climb and they love to eat grains and cereals.

The White-Footed Mouse.  These are not as common in Illinois, but look for a mouse with white feet and a belly to match.  They are about 4 inches long.

Whatever pesky rodent is invading your personal space call the pest control expert in Chicagoland.  A Complete Pest Solution is your best solution all year around.  Call Kurt today at (630) 464-1542.  Get the mouse out of the house!

It’s Mouse Season!

Oh boy, here we go again.  In the fall the mice come out of nowhere to terrify us and disrupt our homes.  You’ve heard the term “field mouse”.  It is the term used to define a variety of mice found throughout the country including house mice.  As the name implies, they are common in fields, which is also true of many other mice species.

Mice are scavengers that will feed on any food available to them.  They are nocturnal in nature, and are very cautious venturing outside only after having fully assessed their surroundings.  Females are able to become pregnant every month. Baby field mice are born blind, bald and deaf. However, within several weeks, they will have reached maturity and begin mating.

A mouse in your home is NOT cute!  If you see one then you can be sure that many more are lurking about.  Keep this phone number handy this fall (630) 464-1542.  That is the phone number of A Complete Pest Solution serving Chicagoland with comprehensive pest control for many years.  Eliminate Mickey and his friends today!
